Problem solving and decision making relates to both personal and workplace situations. The course looks at how to approach and progress through problems and issues and introduces you to a number of different problem solving methods that are appropriate for different situations and challenges.

Team work skills is a short 'hands on' course where you work with other group members to complete different work and personal related tasks. You will identify your own role and the role of others in the team while planning and putting forward ideas for tasks to be successful. This course allows you to identify your own strengths and areas for development within team work. 

ICT for Employability

During ICT for employability you will be covering the fundamental skills needed to identify and apply for vacancies to a high standard. You will study how to search for jobs, how to use universal job match and other tools and techniques used to source job vacancy information. The course also looks at using emails to a professional standard and using Microsoft Word to create formal documents such as a CV.
